Coordinate employee benefits programs and payroll and participates in all other areas of Human Resources.


  • Plans and administers all employee benefit programs including employee presentations and enrollment.
  • Administers payroll function and maintains related records.
  • Communicates established C-SPAN guidelines and policies as necessary.
  • Researches and recommends benefits options; performs other project research and development as assigned.
  • Develops and maintains HR reports including salary history, EEO tracking and performance appraisal notifications.
  • Performs new employee orientation and open enrollment sessions.
  • Coordinates Wellness Program including scheduling of events and maintenance of resource materials.
  • Maintains personnel files and the integrated HR/Payroll system.
  • Performs recruitment and outreach as assigned.
  • Produces communications and materials for areas of responsibility.
  • Adheres to the highest ethical standards and to maintain confidentiality.
  • Prepares materials for external or internal auditors.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Four years payroll and benefits experience preferred.
  • Basic analytical skills necessary.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate simultaneous projects and assignments.
  • Computer experience required including MS Windows.
  • PayCom/Payroll web and Kronos knowledge preferred.
